In the Past 4 Days …

25 Nov

… I have painted, baked 2 pies and 1 casserole, celebrated Thanksgiving twice, painted some more, ran a half marathon, celebrated friends at an engagement party, and painted painted painted some more. And I think I’m underestimating how much I painted.

But, we’re thisclose to finishing the entry and hallway! Here’s where the space stands now:

Left to do:

2 more coats of paint on the inset panels

1 more coat of paint on the upper part of the walls

Touch up paint

Add back the quarter round

Clean, clean, clean

Take a nap

Looks great! However, rest and relaxation on top of the list before further to do!

I am SO in love with your entryway… the colors are fantastic! I am going to be painting my entry way and office soon and am trying to talk my dh into the wainscotting, too. Your whole house is stunning!

So Pretty! Love the color contrast… especially the way it looks with the door. You certainly have been busy!

Very nice entry. Your awfully brave to take on such a project in the middle of the holiday season. I can’t wait to see more!

    Hi there,

I absolutley love your wainscotting, we are in the midst of removing walls and adding hardwood flooring and we are going to be adding some wainscotting but I would love to know what height yours is?

Hi, Shivawne! The wainscotting is 46 1/4 inches high. Best of luck with your projects!
